Reach the network from anywhere
Your team connects straight to the company network, reaching files, servers, cameras, and internal tools as if they were sitting at their desk.
Silkline is a lightweight, peer-to-peer VPN built on WireGuard. It gives your team a secure, encrypted line straight to the company network, whether from home, the road, or a client site, so business data stays inside the business.
An orb-weaver's thread is one of the strongest materials by weight in nature. Silkline is named for it: serious cryptography between your team and your network, under a connect button anyone can use.
Your team connects straight to the company network, reaching files, servers, cameras, and internal tools as if they were sitting at their desk.
Encrypted connections built on WireGuard link each device straight to your network over a direct path.
Work happens over a tunnel that ends inside your network, so sensitive files never travel in the open or sit unprotected on a personal device.
Each device is provisioned individually and revocable. Lose a laptop or off-board an employee, and their access is cut in seconds.
Modern, audited cryptography in a famously small codebase, faster and leaner than legacy VPNs, with far less to misconfigure.
macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android: your team connects with a single tap, with no config files to email around.
Each employee's laptop or phone gets its own Silkline profile, set up once, with one secure key per device and nothing to pass around.
From home, a hotel, or a client site, one tap opens an encrypted tunnel straight to the company network.
It feels like being plugged in at the office, and the connection closes cleanly the moment they're done for the day.
Silkline starts by getting your team safely onto the company network. Down the line it grows into always-on protection for a whole site: a plug-and-play box behind the router that puts every device on the encrypted network automatically, with no app required.

Runs on your own infrastructure.
It opens a private line between your team and the company network, so people can do their job from anywhere without exposing anything to the open internet. The sections above cover what that looks like day to day.
Yes, in the sense that matters: devices connect over direct, encrypted tunnels rather than a third party's relay. Orbweever sets up the topology that fits your business, a gateway at the office to start, with device-to-device mesh as an option later.
WireGuard is a modern protocol with a tiny, auditable codebase and strong default cryptography. It's faster, connects quicker, and has far less to misconfigure than older VPN stacks. For a security tool, a smaller, simpler codebase is a real advantage.
Silkline is designed to keep no activity logs. There's no record of where your team connects or what moves across the line. The goal is simple: there shouldn't be anything sensitive to lose, leak, or be asked to produce. A clear, written policy ships with the product.
Not yet. That's the roadmap item above, and early-access members get a say in when it ships.
It's in early access. Joining the list gets you in as it rolls out, locks in founding rates, and gives you a say in what's built first. No charge until there's something live for your team to use.
Tell us how many people need access and whether you'd want it self-hosted, and we'll bring your team in as Silkline rolls out.
